Dear friends,

The Eucharist stands at the very heart of Christian life and worship. Week after week we gather around the table of the Lord, but how deeply do we understand what we are celebrating? Do we truly grasp what takes place when Christ gives himself to us, and what we are doing when we take part in this mystery of love and communion?

A new Sunday Theology series, “The Theology of the Eucharist: Worship That Makes Us Whole”,  invites us to enter more deeply into the meaning of the Eucharist, so that we may participate in it with renewed faith, understanding, and joy.

The series began on Sunday, October 26, with the talk:
Eucharist, Agape, Holy Sacrifice, Mass, Divine Liturgy, Lord’s Supper: What’s in a Name?

Each of these names opens a different doorway into the mystery of the Eucharist, revealing how God’s healing presence meets us and draws us together in communion.

  • The Sunday Theology Talks take place in the Parish House, Fifth Floor room, 10:00 to 10:45 am.
  • The talks are offered both in person and online, and will be video-recorded.
