Tomorrow we gather at Saint Thomas Church to give thanks for the life and legacy of Dr. Judith Hancock (1934–2025) — a brilliant organist, devoted teacher, beloved member of our parish family, and wife of Gerre Hancock, Organist and Master of Choristers.
Over a remarkable career, Judy inspired generations of musicians through her artistry and faith. She performed at Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Kings College, Cambridge, and served parishes across the country before making Saint Thomas her musical and spiritual home. Her elegance at the console and her kindness in community left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
All are welcome to attend the service in person or join us via livestream.
In tribute to her life in music, we pleased to share this organ recital from 2018 by Dr. Hancock, newly released from our archives.
