Warren David Johnson, head acolyte of Saint Thomas Church and head of the English Department at the Dalton School, died suddenly at home on September 5, 2009. A Requiem, attended by Warren’s mother and sisters, dear freinds, members of Saint Thomas and members of the Dalton community, occurred the following Friday, with body present. The Rector gave the homily and celebrated the mass. The entire acolyte corps participated in the service. The Gentlemen of the Choir sang.

Warren’s remains have been laid to rest in the Columbarium in the Resurrection Chapel of Saint Thomas Church.
