Sunday Recital Series

This Sunday we welcome acclaimed vocal sextet The Western Wind to the Sunday Recital Series in a program of music spanning from William Byrd and Thomas Morley to contemporary composers such as Craig Hella Johnson and David Lang.

This Sunday we welcome organist Alistair Reid to the Sunday Recital Series for a program including music of Percy Whitlock, J. S. Bach, Egil Hovland, and Louis Vierne.

This Sunday we welcome organist Balint Karosi to the Sunday Recital Series.

This Sunday we welcome pianist Junwen Liang of Washington, D.C. to the Sunday Recital Series. Junwen’s program includes music of Mozart, Debussy, Liszt, and Ukrainian-Australian composer Catherine Likhuta.

Our series begins this season with UK organist Ben Comeau playing an eclectic program featuring music of J. S. Bach, transcriptions for organ of music of Legrand, Weill, Tailleferre and Fats Waller, and several of the recitalists own compositions. Ben Comeau is a multi-genre organist, pianist and composer based in London, UK. They graduated with a starred first in music from Cambridge University, before studying jazz piano at Guildhall, London, and in Cologne, Germany.

This Sunday, May 28, we welcome organist Margaret Helene Harper to the Sunday Recital Series. Her program will feature works of Franck, Demessieux, Kristina Arakelyan, and Widor.
