An exploration of Bishop Hobart’s founding vision of the Episcopal High Church tradition as a form of American Anglicanism suited to the future of the United States as a nation challenged by division over slavery and the rise of a dominant Protestant evangelical tradition.

The Adult Education program at Saint Thomas Church offers sound Christian teaching presented with intellectual vigor, teaching that is grounded in Holy Scripture, mediated by the catholic tradition that is the inheritance of Anglicanism and set forth in the Book of Common Prayer.
