Celebrating Art and Community

Tea Party with Professor Yeon-jin Kim

Sunday, June 2, 2024

The Israel Day Parade is this Sunday, June 2, and the route is along 5th Avenue. Head of Security, Robbie Giannetta, will meet parishioners coming from the east side at Madison Avenue and 53rd and escort them across 53rd. Those coming from the west side will have no problem coming up 53rd Street from 6th Avenue. The Q train is also an ideal way of getting from the upper east side to Church; get off at 57th & 7th Ave. If you stay at the back of the train, you will be close to 55th Street and that part of the station is wheelchair accessible to the sidewalk.

1:00 p.m. | Parish House, 2nd Floor

For three months last year, the Pan-Asian Group met every other week to collaborate on a group art project under the guidance of artist Kim Yeon-jin, a professor at Binghamton University. With the conclusion of our exhibition in Chinatown, the artwork will be returned. To celebrate, we invite you to join us for a tea party with Professor Kim at 1 pm in the Living Room of the Parish House.

We look forward to seeing you there! Contact Mother Prisca to learn more.
