Joseph of Arimathaea

Joseph of Arimathaea

Merciful God, whose servant Joseph of Arimathea with reverence and godly fear prepared the body of our Lord and Savior for burial and laid it in his own tomb: Grant to us, your faithful people, grace and courage to love and serve Jesus with sincere devotion all the days of our life; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

10:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. | The Resurrection Chapel

The Resurrected Christ depicted in the Resurrection Chapel of Saint Thomas Church

For those who practice making their confession or seeing a spiritual director regularly, the past four months have been very difficult. On the first three Saturdays in August, clergy will be available for spiritual advice, hearing confessions, healing prayer, and anointing of the sick from 10:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. If you wish to avail yourself of this opportunity, you will need to wear a mask; chairs will be placed at an appropriate distance.  A reminder: now that the church is open Monday – Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM – you can also make an appointment to see one of the clergy in the Resurrection Chapel.
