Almighty God, who seest that we have no power of ourselves to help ourselves: Keep us both outwardly in our bodies and inwardly in our souls, that we may be defended from all adversities which may happen to the body, and from all evil thoughts which may assault and hurt the soul; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Confirmation classes are particularly suitable for young people who wish to engage with questions of faith in a creative and engaging way, as well as or those who are growing in their faith and wish to affirm their commitment to following Jesus.
