The Parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Almighty God, heavenly Father, we remember in thanksgiving this day the parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary; and we pray that we all may be made one in the heavenly family of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord; who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

12:00 p.m. | The Resurrection Chapel
At noon on Mondays through Saturdays we offer audio webcasts of Shrine Prayers at Our Lady of Fifth Avenue prior to a celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the Lady Chapel. We invite you to join us in worship by making an act of spiritual communion, sending us a prayer request, or by purchasing a candle to be lit at the shrine.
My Jesus,
I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things,
and I desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive you sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you.
Never permit me to be separated from you.
Amen.
