A series of Wednesday evening classes on the recent document of the Anglican-Roman Catholic dialogue in the U.S., Ecclesiology and Moral Discernment. Father Austin was a member of this dialogue; over five sessions he will unpack what it says about some of the complicated ways that church structure and church teaching are interrelated. The document includes a claim that moral teaching has “four aspects,” and it goes into some detail about the complementary and differing ways Episcopalians and Roman Catholics have taught with two case studies.

Over five sessions, he will guide a study and discussion of the statement, which may be found here.These classes meet in Andrew Hall from 6:30 to 7:30pm:
