Bernard Mizeki

Almighty and everlasting God, who kindled the flame of your love in the heart of your holy martyr Bernard Mizeki: Grant to us, your humble servants, a like faith and power of love, that we who rejoice in his triumph may profit by his example; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

10:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m.

On June 18, Saint Thomas observes the Feast of Corpus Christi, a recognition of the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. This subject was a particular focus of theologian Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274). At 10 a.m. on the 18th, Christopher Wells, Executive Director of the Living Church Foundation and a scholar of Aquinas, presents a special class on the relationship between worship and theology in the work of this important Christian thinker. The class meets on the fifth floor.
