O God, Creator of heaven and earth: Grant that, as the crucified body of thy dear Son was laid in the tomb and rested on this holy Sabbath, so we may await with him the coming of the third day, and rise with him to newness of life; who now liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. This recitation of the Rosary is offered on the first Saturday of each month at 11:30 a.m. prior to the Holy Eucharist at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fifth Avenue and online as an audio livestream. It incorporates Shrine prayers, and the intercessions are offered at the beginning of each chaplet. More information about the Rosary is available online. By prayerfully meditating on the mysteries of the Gospel and asking the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we hope to grow in our love of Jesus and in our imitation of him and his mother.
