Father in heaven, by whose grace the virgin mother of thy incarnate Son was blessed in bearing him, but still more blessed in keeping thy word: Grant us who honor the exaltation of her lowliness to follow the example of her devotion to thy will; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. If we take a positive view of something Saint Jerome said a long time ago, we might say, familiarity with scripture helps us to become more familiar with Jesus. To that end, each Friday we offer a straight-forward Bible study. This study will meet in the living room of the parish house at 12:45pm, will last one hour, and is open to anyone who is interested. Bring your Bible, and a desire to know our Lord better.
