For the Tuesday of Holy Week, The Saint Thomas Consort performs Baroque composer Dieterich Buxtehude’s cycle of cantatas reflecting Christ’s suffering during his passion. As described by the composer, this “sung devotion” is divided into seven parts, each addressing a different part of Jesus’ body. This Holy Week Musical Meditation is free and open to the public.
