About the Artist

Connor Fluharty is an organist, pianist, and choral conductor serving as the Director of Music at the Church of the Good Samaritan in Paoli, PA. As a church musician for Episcopal churches since 2017, he is passionate about the tradition of Anglican music and its role in deepening worship and building community within the church. Connor finds great joy in his mission to nurture an intergenerational community of musicians in which participants feel musically stimulated and spiritually nourished. He previously served at Trinity Church Princeton in various roles, including Organ Scholar, Interim Director of Music, and Associate Director of Music, during which time he simultaneously directed the semi-professional Lux Choir of the Episcopal Church of Princeton.

Connor earned his Master of Music in Organ Performance from Westminster Choir College, where he studied with Daryl Robinson, and also holds a Bachelor of Music in both organ and piano performance. Connor has taught organ at Lehigh University and often performs as a solo organist and pianist, as well as an accompanist and continuo player. When not behind the keyboard, he also sings in the bass section of the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir, as well as with Princeton Pro Musica and other local ensembles. Outside of music, Connor is an avid reader and cinephile, and is usually planning some overly ambitious cooking project.
