The Second Sunday Of Easter

The Second Sunday Of Easter

Almighty and everlasting God, who in the Paschal mystery hast established the new covenant of reconciliation: Grant that all who have been reborn into the fellowship of Christ's Body may show forth in their lives what they profess by their faith; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Above: The Saint Thomas Scene in the reredos of Saint Thomas Church, immediately above the high altar. Saint Thomas, on bended knee, declares “My Lord and My God.” Christ responds, ‚ÄúThomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.‚Äù [Today’s Gospel is John 20:19-31] The Rector speaks in detail about our patron saint in his weekly audio message.

Because it is Low Sunday, our choir is enjoying a much deserved break. In their place at this 11am Festal Eucharist, we are delighted to welcome the Rodolfus Choir, under the direction of Mr. Ralph Allwood, from the United Kingdom.

Included in this Festal Eucharist are hymns sung by the congregation and choir, additional music sung exclusively by the choir, lessons, prayers, a sermon, and a Rite I Mass. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Holy Communion. Details of the service may be seen in the leaflet, which is posted at the bottom of this page, where you will also find links to the webcast during and after the service.
