All are welcome to come through the Fifth Avenue doors throughout the day to have ashes imposed. While here, you may choose to stay for awhile, sitting in one of the pews. Ashes will be imposed as part of the 8am, 12:10pm and 5:30pm liturgies, and then between these services throughout the day.
The Fifth Avenue doors will open by 7:30am for those who wish to attend the 8am Liturgy. Please note that the first imposition of ashes for the day will occur during this service. Then, ashes will be imposed after the service (beginning at approximately 8:40am) near the high altar in the center aisle of the church’s nave. Ashes are imposed throughout the day between the 8am and 12:10 liturgies, and then again between the 12:10pm and 5:30pm liturgies. The imposition of ashes ends when the 5:30pm liturgy ends.
