The Sunday Of The Resurrection: Easter Day

Almighty God, who through thine only-begotten Son Jesus Christ overcame death and opened unto us the gate of everlasting life: Grant that we, who celebrate with joy the day of the Lord's resurrection, may be raised from the death of sin by thy life-giving Spirit; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the same Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

About Easter Seating: We would be delighted if you decide to worship with us on Easter Morning. Easter is the reason for our existence; there would be no church, no Christian faith, and no hope without the resurrection. So it is an excellent time to come and worship with us.

The 8am Eucharist is identical to the 11am Eucharist in every way, except for the long lines. The 8am is not at all a poorly attended service (it has become quite popular in recent years). Therefore, you can expect to be among a large group of joyous worshippers appropriate for the Easter shout!

Nevertheless, there is no need to arrive more than 20 minutes in advance of 8am, unless you want front row seats. The church doors open at 7am.

Even though your arrival should be smooth sailing, be advised your departure will be in heavy traffic. As you leave the 8am service at approximately 9:30am, a larger group of 11am worshippers will already be arriving. Therefore, we suggest that you keep your jackets and personal belongings with you in your pew during worship. There will be enough room in the pews, and it will be difficult for you to navigate to other parts of the church or parish house after the service in search of your things. We do hope you join us in worship of our Risen Lord, whether at 8am, 11am, or some other time soon. Happy Easter!
