Saint James of Jerusalem

Saint James of Jerusalem

Grant, we beseech thee, O God, that after the example of thy servant James the Just, brother of our Lord, thy Church may give itself continually to prayer and to the reconciliation of all who are at variance and enmity; through the same our Lord Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

This evening, in lieu of Choral Evensong, we have a weekday Festal Eucharist for Saint James of Jerusalem (the Rector speaks about him in his weekly audio message). All baptized Christians are invited to rail for Holy Communion. The order of service is somewhat similar to the Sunday 9am Sung Eucharist, with some variations. Please see the service card posted to the bottom of this page.

‚ñ∫Join us after the Festal Eucharist for a new class on Arts and Theology.

‚ñ∫Are you one of the many hundreds from around the world who enjoy weekday choral services via the Saint Thomas webcasts? Webcasts are freely available, but at significant cost. Please help us carry forward our mission for all who walk through our doors or listen in on the webcasts. We ask you to consider making yourself known to us via the Every Member Canvass at whatever level you are able.
