Thomas Cranmer, Archbishop of Canterbury and Martyr, 1556

Thomas Cranmer, Archbishop of Canterbury and Martyr, 1556

Merciful God, through the work of Thomas Cranmer you renewed the worship of your Church by restoring the language of the people, and through his death you revealed your power in human weakness: Grant that by your grace we may always worship you in spirit and in truth; through Jesus Christ, our only Mediator and Advocate, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

About to getLitDateData for date: Tuesday, October 16, 2012
6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

There are some new young adult members of Saint Thomas who love our music, our liturgy, our preaching … and who make their living as rock musicians and contemporary visual artists. Fr Austin has a “public conversation” with some of the musicians tonight, including Jonathan Jameson and David Quon, and with some of the visual artists on November 1.

The timing of these conversations corresponds with a three session class on arts and theology which meets on October 23, October 30, and November 6 at 6:30pm.

All are welcome to the class and to the public conversations.
